Made for the Mix

Built for blending

The same qualities that made POND FORK valuable to blenders in 1893 — consistency, structure, a character that holds up next to other spirits — are what make it work in a glass today.

The Blending Bourbon

Before POND FORK Bourbon was ever poured for a guest, it was poured into another distiller’s barrel.

Sold by the barrel, not the bottle — to distillers, not bartenders — POND FORK was a blending bourbon, built to be added into other whiskeys to improve them. Not unlike how certain wine varieties are grown and sold to winemakers to round out and elevate a final blend, POND FORK Bourbon was made for makers. Its whole reason for existing was to make someone else’s whiskey better.

It earned its place in the industry more than a century before it ever had a bottle of its own.
